Room 420, Mid-Morning

If anyone were attuned to the small girl in room 420, all they would be getting from her was panic.

Helen had been kidnapped and something freaky was changing the island.

Simply put, Chloe couldn't handle this again.

The last time something like this had happened, she had ended up not existing for a few days.

With shaking hands, she reached for her cellphone and dialed the number of her favorite witch. "Please answer, Tori," she whispered as she heard the other end ringing.

And that would be a Tori answering the phone -- while yelling at Derek.

"So help me, Derek, don't make me shoot you! ... oh, hey, Chlo," Tori greeted. "What's up?"

"Tori... God I am so glad you answered."

Well, that didn't sound good at all.

"Who do we need to come and hurt?" Tori asked, fairly reasonably by her standards.

"Do you think that the guys would allow me to come see you for a couple of days?" There was a tremor in her voice.

"That depends," Tori said, sitting up straight and trying not to sound as worried as she felt. "What are you running from?"

"Remember what I told you before about something eating the island and I ceased to exist for three days?"

"Yeah..." Tori didn't like where this was going. "Who doesn't exist this time?"

"A few people have been kidnapped, and it looks like the island is being eaten by walls."

"Walls. Dude, who slipped LSD in your water?"

Chloe made a small sound of distress as she say on the bed. "So you believed me about me suddenly not existing, but when I tell you about the walls taking over the island, you think I'm on drugs."

"No, I think everybody else is."

Not much better.

"Okay, so, if it's not some kind of mass hallucination... then it's bad. Really bad, I'm guessing."

"It's bad, Tori. Already several businesses in the town have been replaced by these walls... and several students have been kidnapped. I don't know if I can go through this again so soon, Tori."

"I want you to stay in the dorms, Chlo. Stay there and don't leave until someone figures it out. Hell with your classes, just stay put."

Everything in her wanted to tell Chloe to come stay with her for a couple days, but she couldn't tell if it was even safe for the other girl to go outside.

And honestly, Chloe had no way of knowing if it was even safe to leave the dorms. Everyone who had been kidnapped had been outside the dorms."

"This sucks, Tor," Chloe finally said softly.

"One of these days, we're just gonna take off and run away and never look back, y'know?" Tori said. "Get you away from that crazy-ass school."

"Andrew and the guys would just send me back here because I'm too fragile and my father is still offering money to find me."

Chloe had to smile at that. "Thanks, Tor. And... you'd really do that? You'd really split from them for me?"
